Heavenly Heights Dove Release is
owned and operated by Mark and Vicki
Gehrke of Moline, IL. We are a small
family white dove release business
interested in serving you and your
special occasion in a most memorable
way.
However, Mark has been a pastor for over
26 years and is using his many years of
experience with weddings, funerals, and
special events in the white dove release
business. We are truly a family business,
as Mark does this with his wife Vicki, and
son Ben. The White Doves are bred and
trained specifically for the release
purpose.
White doves have been and remain a
symbol of HOPE throughout the ages,
and thus serve as the perfect touch
where HOPE is celebrated…

Highlights
Our first event was using our beautiful
white doves at the 2007 Parish Nurse
Anointing Service, held at Faith Lutheran
Church, Moline, IL, on January 6, 2007.
White doves are symbolic of the Holy
Spirit and the new adventure these
registered nurses were about to embark
on as servants of the Lord in healing,
peace, and wholeness.
Since then, we have done several area
releases for weddings, anniversaries,
baptisms, and more.

- We are in our
fourth season
and are
constantly
training new
birds to join our
flock. - We also are trying
out racing through
the American
Racing Pigeon
Association. The
birds are on a very
long string (no not
really, but it has
been very
challenging). - We are doing
more and more
funerals and
weddings! - Altzheimer Walk,
Heart Walk, and
this year Walk for
the Cure at the I-
Wireless Center,
Moline, IL. - Our flock is
growing one egg
at a time!
